At this time, there are no live televised UEFA EURO 2028 events but we show you a history with the TV guide of the last broadcast seen on television.

We will update this UEFA EURO 2028 agenda on TV when we receive confirmation from official media of the next live televised events of UEFA EURO 2028.

Since the beginning of this website, 616 live televised events have been published.

The first event published was on Friday, June 10, 2016 and the channel that broadcast UEFA EURO 2028 matches the most times was ESPN 3 with a total of 244.

The Eurocup is the most important national soccer team tournament on the old continent. Only members belonging to UEFA can participate in it. It is held every four years, except for the 2020 edition, which was postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first proposal for its creation arose in 1927 by Henri Delaunay, general secretary of the French Football Federation, but it was not finalized until 1958. The champion's trophy bears his name as a tribute.

The Soviet Union was the first European Championship champion in 1960, beating Yugoslavia 2-1 in the final thanks to goals from Metreveli and Ponedelnik. It was held in France and was attended by only four teams.

The first expansion of participants took place in 1980. The competition held in Italy had eight national teams and for the first time, a group stage was played to decide the two finalists. Czechoslovakia lifted the trophy by beating the hosts in an agonizing penalty shoot-out that ended with a score of 9-8.

The number of countries classified was changed again for the 1996 Euro Cup held in England. The teams were distributed by lottery into four groups of four nations. The first two classified advanced to the quarterfinals. Germany conquered the title after winning the final against the Czech Republic 1-2 with a golden goal from Bierhoff.

Since 2016, it has grown to 24 teams. The expansion proposal was led by Scotland and the Republic of Ireland due to the increase of federations in Europe after the separation into nations of large blocks such as Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia or the Soviet Union. Participants are decided by a qualifying round, except for the host of the event, who is classified automatically.

Ahead of Euro 2021, UEFA designated more than two countries as host for the first time in history. The original idea is to organize a European Championship that is played around the entire continent with meetings in cities such as London (England), Munich (Germany), Rome (Italy), Baku (Azerbaijan), Saint Petersburg (Russia), Budapest (Hungary) , Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bilbao (Spain), Glasgow (Scotland), Dublin (Republic of Ireland) and Copenhagen (Denmark).

Until now, Spain has been the only country that has managed to win two editions in a row. The Spanish national team was proclaimed champion of Europe in the tournaments held in 2008 (Austria and Switzerland) and 2012 (Poland and Ukraine) .
